Iris Germanica Obsidian

Iris Germanica 'Obsidian' is a brilliant variety. Its deep and dark ruffled petals appear almost black and stand at an impressive mature height of 65cm above lance-shaped hardy green foliage. They can also be cut and used as part of a floral display to be enjoyed with the home either alone or with contrasting colours to create more of a show. A popular and hardy perennial, these wonderful flowers will thrive in direct sun or partial shade when planted in well-drained, fertile soil. First grade loose rooted plants supplied.
