A tall perennial with a very long flowering season from June-October. Flowers are vivid shades of orange and yellow, with a brown centre. Has been given the RHS award of garden merit. Height 1.2m and spread 40cm. Highly recommended for drier areas. Supplied as first grade loose roots.

Plant in well dug prepared soil, and add a little manure or organic matter if possible.

They are suitable for planting in all types of well drained garden soil. They work best once planted in sunny location. Plant in well dug prepared soil, and add a little manure or organic matter if possible.
Apply a mulch in winter to help protect against the colder elements. Deadhead regularly to promote new flowers once old flowers begin to fade. Make sure they receive plenty of water during very dry and hot summer periods. They can be divided if necessary in early Spring (usually February/March) but never in the Autumn.
